Archives of Breast Cancer (ABC) is pleased to announce the ABC Accelerated Excellence Program 2026, a focused initiative designed to support high-quality submissions while improving editorial efficiency, publication speed, and article visibility.

Accelerated editorial process.
Under this program, ABC aims to provide an initial editorial decision within 10 days of submission. Following final acceptance, manuscripts will be published online within 7–10 days, ensuring rapid dissemination and early citation.

APC support and targeted reductions.
To promote inclusivity and support emerging research areas, manuscripts addressing Artificial Intelligence in Breast Oncology and Quality of Life research are eligible for a 40% APC discount. Authors from low-income countries may receive a 50% APC reduction. In addition, early-career researchers are eligible for a 30% APC discount, in recognition of the importance of supporting early academic development.

Recognition of outstanding research.
As part of this initiative, three outstanding manuscripts will be selected to receive a full APC waiver. Selected articles may also benefit from featured visibility across ABC platforms, enhancing reach and academic impact.

The ABC Accelerated Excellence Program 2026 applies to manuscripts submitted from March 01 to June 30, 2026. All submissions will continue to undergo routin peer review in accordance with the journal’s editorial standards and commitment to academic integrity.

Researchers are invited to submit clinically relevant, translational, and practice-changing studies that advance the field of breast oncology.
